Meet the Speakers

We are fortunate to work with well-respected Animal Health professionals who share insights and shed lights on the latest ideas and developments in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Li Danielsson

I graduated from University of Queensland, in 2008 and am currently the head veterinarian at Evidensia Djursjukhuset Norra Halland, in Kungsbacka, Sweden. I love the diversity of veterinary work, every day is different and you never stop learning!

Dr Cambournac

Dr. Maxime Cambournac

European Specialist in veterinary emergency and critical, Dr. Cambournac passed complementary degrees in resuscitation and critical care, mechanical ventilation and the Certificate of Veterinary hemodialysis. His main fields of interest are emergency ultrasound, extracorporeal therapies and renal physiology, in which he has published.

Dr Alix Barbarino

Dr. Alix Barbarino

As a clinician at a veterinary university in the intensive care unit, I am very invested in the well-being of patients. Providing the best care to such critical patients involves working on all aspects of veterinary medicine. I am particularly interested in transfusion medicine, dialysis and ventilation.

Dr. David Sayag

David is board-certified in Small Animal Oncology, and head of a specialized oncology unit (ONCOnseil)  in Toulouse, France. David’s clinical interest included personalized medicine and integrative approach to offer the best chance to each cancer patient, with the best quality of life.

Miss Petra Dunn, veterinary nurse

Ms. Petra Dunn

I am an RVN and Clinical Coach in the southwest of England. I have been qualified for 9 years and I am passionate about elevating standards in animal welfare, skills and overall function of the practice. Outside of work you will often find me horse riding, spending time with friends
or my two cats!

Prof. Joaquim Henriques

Joaquim Henriques obtained his graduation in veterinary medicine in 2000 in Lisbon. He left Portugal in 2006 to do an internship at the University of Glasgow. On his return, as oncology was his passion, he created an oncology referral service in Lisbon. In 2012 he founded a veterinary hospital in Oncology in Lisbon. Actually, he is responsible for the Oncology Dept of the CHV Frégis and consults at the Teaching Hospital at École Véterinaire de Maison Alfort, France
